Vittoria, which claims to be the world’s leading bicycle tire and wheel manufacturer, has added Spencer Haugh to its team as Inside Sales Rep and Logistics Support. Haugh comes to Vittoria with a decade of experience in sales, marketing, event planning, logistics, and process improvement in the cycling industry.

At Vittoria, Haugh will be responsible for supporting the dealers and reps in the New England area.

Haugh began his career as a bike messenger in San Francisco. As his passion for the sport grew, he later became a warehouse manager for Time Bicycles and was responsible for all of its U.S. inventory. After that, he worked for Quality Bicycle Products where he managed 2,500 dealer accounts, assisted sales reps, and provided logistic support for the Interbike and other trade shows. Most recently he managed the social media output and customer experience for Kryptonite.

“Inside and outside of the work environment, I work hard at developing meaningful relationships and community building,” Haugh said. “I have made lasting friendships through bike racing, training, promoting races and events, managing a cycling team, hosting a cycling podcast, sponsoring teams, networking with other enthusiasts and simply walking into every bike shop I pass by.”

Haugh lives and breathes the cycling lifestyle, and it has brought him success through many different avenues including getting his races covered in the New York Times, his events in the Wall Street Journal, and creating massive social media buzz.

“With his past experiences, Spencer is sure to bring an added dimension to our team,” Vittoria North America CEO EJ Riordan said. “We are excited to have him join us.”

Haugh joins Vittoria in the Boston office.
