Vista Outdoor Inc. donated more than $670,000 in fiscal 2015 to conservation organizations that are working to protect and secure habitat and empower hunters and conservationists, according to a the company's 2015 Corporate Sustainability Report.

In addition, the sale of Vista Outdoor products provided approximately $82 million through the Pittman-Robertson excise tax. This program, long supported by hunters and shooting sports enthusiasts, helps fund wildlife conservation in America through the Wildlife Restoration Trust Fund.

“We're extremely proud of our conservation efforts,” said DeYoung. “We know that hunters have long been the cornerstone of conservation in America, and we continue to support important programs such as Pittman-Robertson. We also donate our time and resources to partner with conservation organizations and related programs. At Vista Outdoor, our mission is to bring the world outside, and we're doing our part to protect our world for future generations to enjoy.”

Based in Clearfield, UT, Vista Outdoor operates a Shooting Sports segment and and Outdoor Products segment that own more than 30 brands. Shooting sports brands such as Federal Premium and Savage Arms and Outdoor Products brand Bushnell are featured throughout the report.
