Collective Licensing International, LLC (CLI) announced a two-year extension with RUNTECH Inc. of Japan to license footwear for the Vision Street Wear brand. Under the agreement, RUNTECH Inc., a subsidiary of Daiyu Co., will continue to hold the license for Vision Street Wear footwear in Japan.

“We are thrilled to renew our agreement with RUNTECH,” said Bruce Pettet, President and CEO of CLI, the company that owns the Vision Street Wear brand. “We anticipate continued innovative footwear collections and an enhanced presence of the Vision Street Wear brand in Japan with this extended partnership.”

Founded in 1976, Vision Street Wear is recognized as one of the original and most authentic street wear brands to emerge from the skate fashion explosion of the early '90s. Since its re-launch in 2009, the brand has been on the forefront of music and street culture and has been featured in many popular media outlets including Transworld Skateboarding, Spin magazine and Antenna magazine.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with CLI,” said Terry Kushibe, general manager of RUNTECH. “For more than 11 years, we have been marketing and growing the Vision Street Wear brand. We will draw upon our experience and credibility in the market to further develop the brand’s presence within the Japan market.”
