Vibram has named Jeff Laney as a brand representative for the Rocky Mountain territory and Jonah Salloway as representative in the South Central territory.

“I’m pleased to announce the hiring of Jeff Laney and Jonah Salloway to Vibram USA’s finished goods team,” said Chris Melton, Vibram’s sales director of the Americas. “They each bring a wealth of business acumen and strong dealer relationships to Vibram. We now have the resources to scale up the level of service we provide our dealers in the Rocky Mountain and South Central territories.”

In addition to serving as a sales representative for Vibram’s finished goods product lines, Laney will also be an ambassador for the brand in the Rocky Mountain territory. Laney is an outdoor enthusiast who started his outdoor industry career as a buyer for Plum Creek Shoe Station in Estes Park, CO. Most recently, Laney served as the district manager for GoLite in the Rocky Mountain territory.

“Our goal is to develop indispensable partnerships with Vibram’s retailers in the Rockies,” said Laney.

Salloway began working in the Outdoor industry in 1992, leading wilderness experiential education trips for at-risk youth. In 1999, Salloway served as general manager of Taos Mountain Outfitters focusing on paddle sports, climbing, backcountry skiing and technical footwear categories. Most recently, Salloway worked as director of special events and summer programming for Taos Ski Valley.

Vibram’s finished goods business unit incorporates all products that are sold directly from Vibram, either through Vibram.com or at one of its retail partners. Its finished goods product lineup includes FiveFingers, golf discs, dog toys, motorcycle accessories and the new Furoshiki shoe line.
