VF Corp. Elects New Member to Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of VF Corporation elected Charles V. (Chip) Bergh to serve as a director, effective immediately. Bergh is Group President, Global Personal Care for the Procter & Gamble Company (P&G).

Bergh has held a progression of leadership roles during his 25-year career with P&G. He was appointed to his current role in 2007 and has responsibility for P&Gs $15 billion global personal care business. In 2005, Bergh was selected to lead the companys $5 billion blades and razors business following the acquisition of Gillette. From 2000 to 2005, he led P&Gs business in South East Asia as President, ASEAN/Australasia/India.

Bergh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa.
