Verde Brand Communications hired Tom Barney, former CEO of Osprey Packs, as its COO while launching Verde Strategy, a consulting practice that addresses business growth opportunities for companies in the active outdoor lifestyle markets.

Led by Verde founder Kristin Carpenter-Ogden and Barney, Verde Strategy focuses on sales, marketing, product and retail challenges with special emphasis on the rapidly evolving direct-to-consumer relationship.
