Vasque has partnered with ultrarunner, race director and all-around goodwill ambassador for the trail running community, Krissy Moehl.

As part of the ambassadorship, Moehl will be testing new products and providing feedback to the product design team at Vasque as they develop the 2017 trail running collection. Recently Moehl ran in Vasque’s Pendulum on her trip to Chile for the filming of Patagonia’s documentary, Mile for Mile, that highlights Conservacion Patagonica’s efforts to re-wild and protect Patagonia Park in Chile.

In 2015, Moehl will finally live out her ultra-running dream of representing the USA at the IAU World Trail Championships for the 50-mile distance.

“I couldn’t be happier with how everything just fell into place for this partnership with Vasque,” said Krissy Moehl. “It is going to be great to work so closely with the design team at Vasque and offer input for upcoming innovative styles to expand the collection.”

“Aligning with Krissy is very exciting for the Vasque brand,” said Julie Quinn, Vasque’s Marketing Manager. “She embodies our mission of escaping to the trail for oneself and reaching for personal goals.”

Moehl’s 2015 calendar includes the races below and other personal objectives:

  • April 16 – 18: Ultra Fjiord 100 Miles – Patagonia Chile
  • May 30: IAU Trail International World Championships – 50 Miles – Annecy-le-Vieux, France
  • June 27-28: Western States – Pacer – Squaw Valley, CA
  • August 20 – 22: Ultra Tour Monte Rosa – Stage Race – Switzerland
