Vasa Fitness, a high value/low price (HVLP) gym operator, has appointed Chris Griebe as chief operating officer and Danielle Petersen as chief marketing officer.
Griebe brings over 25 years of experience in fitness, wellness and hospitality operations. Most recently, he served as senior vice president at Arch Amenities Group, overseeing nationwide teams and leading business expansion. Griebe will oversee all aspects of Vasa’s business operations, including club execution, fitness operations, facilities management, and safety.
Petersen brings more than 20 years of executive marketing leadership experience with Fortune 500 and private equity-backed companies, specializing in subscription growth, brand building and performance marketing. Most recently, she was the chief marketing officer at Whistle Express, where she drove measurable revenue growth by increasing memberships, reducing churn and activating community campaigns.
At Vasa, Petersen will help drive the company’s growth strategy by focusing on marketing initiatives designed to attract new members, increase member retention, and strengthen the Vasa brand, while deepening consumer insights and member engagement.
