Varsity Spirit in partnership with FloSports launched Varsity.tv, a new website dedicated to exclusive live coverage and a video library of Varsity Spirit cheer and dance competitions, original documentaries, breaking news and more.

“This is a breakthrough partnership for FloSports to work side-by-side with Varsity Spirit, the global leader for all things cheer and dance,” FloSports Co-founder and CEO Martin Floreani said. “Varsity.tv will be the preeminent source for the most in-depth and compelling content surrounding the leading events and competitors in cheer and dance.”

The partnership includes live coverage via streaming of upcoming events such as the National High School Cheerleading Championship, which is the only national championship endorsed by the National Federation of State High School Associations, and other large scale events like Cheersport Nationals and the NCA & NDA All-Star National Championship, along with more than 20 others. The site will also host an archive where cheer and dance fans can access their favorite events from a library of more than 50,000 performance videos.

Varsity Spirit has been involved in cheerleading and dance team education and competitive events for nearly 40 years, with more than 325,000 camp attendees and 475,000 athletes attending competitions annually. In 2016, Varsity Spirit hosted five national events at the Walt Disney World Resort alone, totaling more than 67,000 athletes, 7,300 coaches and 105,000 spectators.

“Varsity Spirit welcomes the chance to provide a higher level of recognition to teams that do so much to spread school spirit, and gyms that consistently raise the bar on excellence,” said Jeff Webb, founder and chairman of Varsity Spirit. “This partnership with FloSports allows us to elevate the profile of cheerleaders and other spirit groups, create an engaging online community for our athletes and expand our network coverage with content that highlights the richness of the experience.”

Varsity.tv will feature free and premium content, and users can access the premium content, including live streams of events, original documentaries and archive videos via FloPro subscription. Documentary episodes on Woodlands Elite-Generals and Black Ops, Stingray Allstars-Peach, California All-Stars-Smoed and the US National Cheer Team are already available on Varsity.tv. More series will debut in the coming months. A full schedule of live events is available on Varsity.tv.
