Vapur said it has hired three sales agencies to increase sales of its collapsible hydration containers in the sports and outdoor market.

Dana Caraway of Dana Caraway & Co., Lois and Jerry Horton of Horton & Co., and Michael Schmidt of Velocity Sales are now representing the company.

Representing Vapur in the Southwest region, the team at Caraway & Co. has 17 years of outdoor industry experience in product development, brand management, design, sourcing, key account management, and sales. The agency, which includes Caraway, Mason Daly and Kimberley Flores, focuses on representing brands that provide customers with innovative products, great brand stories and good business. In addition to Vapur, Caraway & Co manages business in the Southwest (California, Nevada, Arizona and/or Hawaii) for several companies including Outdoor Research, Horny Toad, and Chico Bags.

Jerry and Lois Horton of Horton & Co. have represented top outdoor companies in the South-Central territory for 20 years. In addition to their expertise in the industry as sales reps, Jerry’s 15 years in outdoor specialty retail will invariably help Vapur reach new customers and demographics by connecting the company’s brand to key retail partners and distributors. The Horton Co. also represents other leading outdoor companies, such as Outdoor Research, Carve Designs, and Haiku.  The duo will provide support to Vapur in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Louisiana.

Velocity Sales & Marketing is a team of specialty outdoor representatives servicing the Northeast. The team-Mike Schmidt, Bill Bruzzese, Jason Cote and Brian Hamann-has more than 20 years in the industry, with experience spanning performance and lifestyle apparel, footwear and technical hardgoods. They pride their work as sales representatives for some of the most respected brands in the industry, including Marmot, Nikwax and SCARPA.
