The University of Wisconsin-Madison dropped its lawsuit against Adidas over alleged missed severance payments to factory workers in Indonesia, according to reports. The move follows Adidas agreement to provide “additional aid” to the workers.

Terms of the Adidas deal were not disclosed.

The Wisconsin State Journal reports the university earlier expressed support for the agreement and has now dropped the legal case it filed last July against Adidas.

The lawsuit alleged that Adidas must pay Indonesian workers up to $2 million in back wages and benefits and honor a code-of-conduct provision in its contract.

UW-Madison interim chancellor David Ward said Monday that the primary goals of the suit had been achieved.
