USA Triathlon signed a four-and-a-half-year agreement with Wahoo Fitness, a leader in indoor smart trainers and connected cycling computers, as a technological partner supporting the National Governing Body’s elite and amateur athletes, as well as programming and events.

As the Official Bike Trainer and Bike Computer of USA Triathlon through 2023, Wahoo will directly support the U.S. National Team, Toyota U.S. Paratriathlon National Teamand the Project Podium men’s elite development squad based at Arizona State University.

Wahoo’s portfolio of cutting-edge products includes the popular KICKR family of indoor cycling trainers and ELEMNT family of cycling computers. Beginning in 2020, the partnership will expand to also include the TICKR family of heart rate monitors.

Wahoo will also serve as the presenting sponsor of USA Triathlon’s Athlete of the Year and Multisport Awards, which celebrate the greatest accomplishments and contributions to the sport on an annual basis. The company will provide support for age-group athletes via the “Warm Up Zone Powered by Wahoo Fitness” at select USA Triathlon-owned National Championships, as well as the Legacy Triathlon held in Long Beach, California.

In addition, Wahoo will partner with the USA Triathlon Foundation on key events and initiatives, including the USA Triathlon Foundation Fantasy Camp.
