The latest data from the RV Industry Association (RVIA) identifies that economic uncertainty and unpredictable travel logistics will impact holiday plans nationwide. And for 28 million Americans, RVing is their holiday travel choice, up 33 percent from last year.

The firearms manufacturer reported that profits on an adjusted basis fell 61.5 percent in the fiscal second quarter ended October 31, on a 3.9 percent revenue gain. The firearms maker continues to see healthy sell-through of its products and forecasts fiscal Q3 sales to climb in the range of 8 percent to 10 percent.

ICSC Survey: 152 Million Consumers Shopped In-Store Over Thanksgiving Weekend

ICSC’s 2025 Post-Thanksgiving Weekend Survey found that 152 million consumers visited shopping centers during the four-day shopping weekend, with 9 in 10 Gen Z consumers spending time in shopping centers. The survey further found that 84 percent of consumers shopped in-store or used in-store pickup, an increase of 6 percentage points from 2024.

Costco Total Company Comps Rose 6.9 Percent in November

The company reported net sales of $23.64 billion for the retail month of November ended November 30, an increase of 8.1 percent from $21.87 billion last year. U.S. comps, excluding changes in gas prices, rose 5.8 percent year-over-year for the four-week month.

The 14 percent increase in revenues was reportedly driven by higher ORV deliveries and favorable product mix following the “successful launch” of new products, partly offset by lower Snowmobile shipments. The company’s North American retail sales were reported down 4 percent year-over-year for the third quarter.

Cyber Weekend Shoppers Prioritize Price and Online Convenience

A survey conducted by Numerator found that over 56 percent of consumers who shopped during this year’s Cyber Weekend (Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday) did so primarily or exclusively online. A majority, 64 percent, also indicated rising prices impacted their purchasing power.

NRF Reports Record Number of Shoppers Over Thanksgiving Weekend; Beats Expectations

Black Friday remained the top shopping day for both in-store and online, but but NRF said shoppers ramped up their activity over the weekend. Saturday had flat year-over-year in-store activity but saw an additional 10 million online shoppers compared to Saturday last year. The Sunday after Thanksgiving saw a surge in the number of shoppers in-store while the number of online shoppers declined year-over-year.

Adobe Analytics Sees Online Cyber Monday Sales Climb 7 Percent

Consumers spent a total of $14.25 billion online on Cyber Monday, up 7.1 percent YoY, topping Adobe’s initial projection of $14.2 billion, up 6.3 percent YoY. Sales of apparel grew 5.2 percent while sporting goods gained 6.0 percent on the day.
