Under Armour announced that Marcelo Ferreira da Silva will serve as a consultant to help the brand establish its Brazilian entity and to organize business operations in that region.  Marcelo, currently serving as CEO of Fototica Ltda-Group Grandvision, brings nearly 20 years of executive leadership experience to this new relationship, including a decade as President of Adidas Group, Adidas do Brasil Ltda.

Marcelo, who will report to Charlie Maurath, president of international, has served in numerous executive capacities in the sports apparel space over the past two decades.  Upon the opening of Under Armours pending Brazilian subsidiary, the brand anticipates that Marcelo will transition to a role of Managing Director of this entity.
