Under Armour, Inc. has entered a multi-year partnership with the Baseball Factory, a player development program for top high-school baseball athletes across the country. Under Armour will outfit the players from head-to-toe and serve as the title sponsor for tournaments and teams such as the Under Armour All-America Baseball Tournament, National Tryout Tour, Cape Cod High School Classic and National Tournament Teams.

“The best high school-level baseball talent will now be playing in the best performance apparel and footwear available,” said Under Armour’s VP of Brand Marketing Steve Battista. “We share with the Baseball Factory a dedication to authentic on-field performance, and we’re excited to see what this talented pool of athletes can accomplish in their athletic career.”

This multi-year partnership follows on the heels of the company’s recent Senior Bowl sponsorship announcement,

“We have nothing but respect and admiration for the Under Armour brand and products,” said Steve Sclafani, CEO and Founder of the Baseball Factory. “As the leader in our respective field as well, our players deserve the best in footwear and apparel and they will now receive it through our relationship with Under Armour. We look forward to a long and bright future together.”

The sponsorship kicks off with the Under Armour All-America Baseball Tournament at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Arizona January 12th through the 14th, where Under Armour, Baseball Factory and Team One will invite and host approximately 200 of the nation's top high school juniors and seniors for the pre-season tournament. Under Armour will also become a major player at the Cape Cod High School Classic as a presenting sponsor in 2007 and title sponsor for 2008-2009. This prestigious event will showcase the 36 most talented high school rising seniors and juniors from across the nation in a classic game broadcast by ESPNU and MLB.com.
