In advance of the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL, Eyeking, the official provider/licensee of UA Eyewear, announced its partnership with the Association of Professional Tour Caddies (APTC) for 2017.

More than 25 professional tour caddies including Jimmy Johnson, Paul Tesori and Kevin Baile will represent Under Armour on the course. Participating members will be outfitted with an assortment of new styles from the 2017 UA Eyewear collection. Each caddie will also receive a selection of UA Footwear to wear during course practice and play. Tom Cox, Director of Specialty Sales says, “We are excited about the opportunity to work with the APTC. Our game-enhancing eyewear heightens visual precision and contrast on the green and offers an ideal combination of protection and style. It’s the perfect addition into their course tool kit.”

Participants will receive the new sport performance frame UA Octane featuring Game Day lenses. UA Octane is UA Eyewear’s most technical frame to date and includes features like UA AutoGrip self-articulating temples and a comfortable multi-positioning nose pad system. The golf specific Game Day lenses provide color enhancing technology that contrasts and sharpens the white ball against the green grass. UA Octane retails for $114.99.

“Our new Under Armour Eyewear performance styles feature superior lenses that protect course players 100% from harmful UVA/B/C rays making these the ideal styles for golf professionals,” says Scott Betty, SVP of product & marketing at Under Armour Eyewear. “Under Armour Eyewear is designed with these tour players and their caddies in mind, who spend many hours outdoors in all types of course conditions. These new styles are the perfect addition for any serious player’s golf bag.”

“We are very excited about beginning our partnership with Eyeking,” says Scott Sajtinac, president of the APTC. “Many of our members wear sunglasses on a daily basis out here and building relationships with best in class partners is key to our success. We are focused on only working with the best manufacturers and brands that provide quality products that we can get behind, Under Armour is definitely in that category.”
