Hunter's Handbook announces that they will continue to receive support of Hunter Education programs from long-time partner, Under Armour.

This is the third year that Under Armour has been a partner for Hunter's Handbook and the International Hunters Education Association Heritage Hunt.

Under Armour's sponsorship support of Hunter's Handbook for 2014 encompasses a critical educational safety spread on layering that instructs students on not only how to effectively layer, but also teaches a better understanding of exactly what base layer ratings mean for proper product selection.

UA also supports the IHEA Heritage Hunt, which is put on by Focus Group and the IHEA. The Heritage Hunt offers three Hunter Education students and two certified Hunter Education Instructors the opportunity to go on the hunt of a lifetime once per year.

“Under Armour is excited about renewing our sponsorship with Hunter's Handbook for 2014,” said Koby Fulks, of Under Armour Outdoor Marketing. “We really want to encourage and educate all students and instructors on staying safe to ultimately be successful. Effective layering to stay dry and warm in the field could save your life. We want everyone to enjoy their time outdoors and be prepared.”

Hunter's Handbook is the informational primer that all 700,000 Hunter Education students receive upon attending their Hunter Education course presented by IHEA and their 70,000 volunteer instructors. It provides students with a “how-to” guide that takes all Hunter Education students beyond mandatory general safety guidelines and offers them additional information on everything from firearms to targets and gear as well as an added emphasis on safety in the field.

All support of Hunter's Handbook helps fund the International Hunter Education Association and the future of safe and responsible hunting.
