Under Armour rang The Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on December 7, 2016, after the sportswear company announced earlier in the week that it had inked a major sponsorship deal with MLB.

Under Armour Founder and CEO Kevin Plank rang The Opening Bell alongside Baseball Commissioner Robert D. Manfred, Jr., Chicago Cubs Chairman and Owner Thomas Ricketts and Under Armour baseball athlete Aaron Judge.

The honor of ringing The Opening Bell also coincides with Under Armour changing its ticker symbols on the NYSE. Effective at the start of trading today, the ticker symbol for Under Armour’s Class C Common Stock will change to “UA” and the ticker symbol for Under Armour’s Class A Common Stock will change to “UAA.”
