Under Armour is ending its apparel contract with the University of Utah (Utes) after 18 years.

The contract was signed in 2016 for a 10-year term, at a $65 million deal with the brand. That deal ends in June of 2027.

The University said in a media statement, “The University of Utah greatly appreciates its 18-year partnership with Under Armour, and has immense gratitude for the many benefits it has provided to our student athletes. Utah Athletics and Under Armour have experienced significant growth in our nearly two decades as partners, including our moves from the Mountain West to the Pac-12, and now to the Big 12 Conference. Thank you to Kevin Plank and the team at Under Armour for their incredible support for the University of Utah, our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans.”

Under Armour has ended several university programs in recent years as part of a corporate restructuring.

Other schools Under Armour has ended contracts in recent years include UCLA, Auburn University, University of South Carolina, Texas Tech, UC Berkeley (Cal), Boston College, University of Cincinnati, University of Hawaii and Davidson College.

Under Armour has extended its contracts with several universities, including Notre Dame, the University of Wisconsin, the University of Maryland, and Navy.
