Premier league team Hull City and Umbro announced a technical kit and sportswear partnership that will begin on 1 June, 2014.

The Tigers will once again wear the famous double diamond of Umbro from the 2014/15 season as part of a new four year partnership. Umbro will produce all on-pitch and training product for the men’s, women’s and academy teams, as well as training and sportswear for both players and fans.

Hull City wore Umbro kits from 2007 to 2010, a period which included their finest hour to date when club legend Dean Windass scored the winning goal to clinch promotion to the top English league for the first time in the Club’s history.

Ex-Hull City legend Geovanni, who scored the club’s first ever Premier League goal and a famous 30-yard stunner against Arsenal in 2008, flew in from Brazil to attend the match and celebrate the new partnership.

Paul Nugent, VP of Global Marketing for Umbro, commented: “The announcement during the game on 24 minutes was a great way to announce our new technical partnership to the Hull City supporters as well as celebrating our 90th birthday.

“The amber and black of Hull City is one of the most iconic combinations in football. We have worked closely with the Club to design a set of unique kits which have the highest technical requirements for players whilst retaining the stylish aesthetic synonymous with Umbro.

“Hull City and Umbro have enjoyed some special moments together and we are looking forward to many more.”

Ehab Allam, Vice Chairman of Hull City, said: “We are thrilled to be able to announce that Umbro will be our kit supplier for at least the next four years.

“Umbro is a respected brand that is synonymous with football and our club. We are already well under way with the production of the 2014/2015 seasons kit, which we are sure our supporters are going to love.”
