Umbro, the British sports equipment manufacturer specializing in soccer and rugby products, announced that it signed several new licensing partners across North America, including Isaac Morris, BBC International and Jayva Brands, as it prepares for a brand relaunch in 2026.
Isaac Morris, Ltd. becomes Umbro’s exclusive apparel partner, while BBC International is its exclusive footwear partner for fashion and lifestyle shoes. Both deals cover the U.S. and Canada and start in 2026.
Umbro also signed a custom team uniforms license with Jayva Brands, which will create soccer teamwear for clubs, schools and leagues in the U.S. and Canada. Iconix International, the parent of Umbro, said the custom team uniforms license was “Inspired by Starter’s successful Team Starter program,” another brand owned by Iconix.
The company noted in a media release that the “relaunch is built on new licensing agreements designed to streamline production and distribution across key categories.”
“In apparel, teamwear and now footwear, we’re building a unified, design-driven platform for Umbro’s return,” said Ryan Sainsott, senior vice president of Iconix International. “Isaac Morris and BBC International bring complementary strengths that will accelerate Umbro’s cultural and commercial momentum in North America.”
“Umbro is a global legacy brand with deep cultural equity,” said Milin Shah, chief revenue officer of Isaac Morris. “We’re honored to lead its apparel growth across the U.S. and Canada — blending heritage with innovation to connect with today’s consumer in both sport and style.”
