UGG Australia celebrated the grand opening of its retail store at The Galleria in Houston, TX.
“We’re thrilled to open our first Houston store in one of the city's most fashionable locations,” said Constance X. Rishwain, president of UGG Australia. “The consumers in Houston are very fashion-savvy, and we’re confident that they will appreciate being able to see and experience the full breadth of our offerings in a beautiful environment in an equally great mall location.”
The store shares the same global design features used in 50 of UGG’s 70 stores worldwide, such as high quality finishes from zebra wood to frosted glass and a unique champagne metal finish. The floor and ceiling are made from natural oak and slate while custom-built features are carried throughout the store to add interest to the full product categories.
UGG Australia concept stores are also operating in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing and Moscow. Ugg is owned by Deckers Outdoor Corporation, which also owns the Teva, Sanuk, Tsubo, Ahnu, MOZO and HOKA One One brands.
