The Sports Authority announced the re-launch of a new vendor program. The Sports Authority Vendor Days will allow companies to showcase their new products at the Company's corporate offices in Englewood, Colorado.
Vendor Days will be scheduled once a month and will be dedicated to meeting with vendors to review new and improved products. The first forum is scheduled for February 19, 2004 and is open to current as well as potential future vendor partners.
“Innovation is the foundation for growth,” said Elliott Kerbis, President and Chief Merchandising Officer. “As the authority and leader in the sporting goods retail industry, it is one of our missions to bring new ideas and innovative products to our customers. Through this initiative we also offer a forum for industry growth.”
