True Linkswear, a Scottsdale-AZ based footwear and apparel company, said Mike Wagner had resigned as sales manager at golf footwear brand True.

Jeremy Moore, president of True, praised the integral role Wagner played for the company as it grew from a start-up business three years ago into one of the top-selling footwear brands in the golf industry.

“We could not be more appreciative and sincerely fortunate to have had Mike as a key member of the True team from day one,” said Moore. “His leadership, tenacity, and extreme desire to win contributed significantly to True's rapid success, while helping to carve out a new category in the industry that has become one of its most rapidly expanding. From the beginning, Mike has been one of our True Ambassadors.”

“To be part of a company that grew from just a couple of guys in a garage to changing an entire category within the golf market is truly satisfying,” said Wagner. “True now has a very loyal global following and a very exciting upcoming 2014 line. I am really excited to go explore new ventures within the golf products, technology, and development sectors. The team at True is like family, and I wish the company nothing but the greatest success in the future.”

True linkswear created the first golf shoe built on a barefoot platform, allowing the golfer to truly “Feel the Course” and enabling them to walk 36 holes right out of the box in total comfort. True products are now available at many national retailers, including Golfsmith, PGA TOUR Superstores, Golf Galaxy and GolfTown in Canada.
