Thailand-based investment company Triple D Corporation, which recently acquired Surf Technicians LLC (SurfTech), has offered to acquire Global Surf Industries (GSI), which manufactures and distributes many well-known brands in the surf and standup paddle board industry.

GSI brands include Tom Carroll SUP, 7S, Hayden Shapes, Modern, Walden and Meyerhoffer Surfboards internationally.
 
The terms of the conditional offer have not been made public. Surtech announced the offer Friday, May 15 a day after  it announced it would take over U.S. distribution (excluding Hawaii) for the Australian surf and SUP company NSP from GSI July 14. Triple D subsidiary Aroona Pty Ltd will take over NSP in Australia on the same date.
 
Triple D affiliate Continental Link Composite Pte Ltd of Singapore already manages  Surfers Ink and Sunset Surfboards along with other action sports brands globally.
