On Thursday, July 6, sports property TrackTown Summer Series brings its track and field competition to Icahn Stadium in New York City. Broadcast live on ESPN, the event will feature world-renowned Olympians Allyson Felix, Bernard Lagat, Nick Symmonds and Sanya Richards-Ross.

After its debut last summer, the TrackTown Summer Series was expanded to include three events in 2017. The first two events take place in San Francisco and Portland, culminating in the July 6 final at Icahn Stadium in New York City.

The TrackTown Summer Series is a U.S. circuit of professional track and field meets that features scored competition between four teams representing the cities of New York, Portland, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Prior to the start of the series, General Managers from the four cities held a draft selecting their teams. The series is designed to provide top American track and field athletes with innovative competitive opportunities on U.S. soil.

The series offers a non-traditional approach to track and field by allowing fans to participate in the event. Prior to the meet, fans will be invited to participate in a 5K Road Race in Icahn Stadium, running alongside TrackTown Summer Series athletes.

Tickets for the event range from $20 for general admission, to $100 for premier reserved with VIP hospitality. Additional information regarding the event can be found here.
