Toms has appointed Katie Wagner, who previously held sales leadership roles at Crocs and Heydude, as its new chief commercial officer. Wagner will oversee all global sales channels, including Wholesale Sales and Operations, eCommerce and Marketplaces.
Wagner assumes the role following an advisory period supporting Toms’ wholesale strategy.
Toms reports that Wagner brings nearly two decades of commercial leadership. She was VP of Americas Sales at Heydude from February 2022 to April 2023, and previously was VP of the Americas Wholesale for Crocs for just over 16 years. Most recently, she founded Pink Clouds Consulting.
“I had the great fortune of working with Katie at both Crocs and Melissa, so I know first-hand her unmatched ability to transform and build world-class footwear businesses,” said Tom’s CEO Jessica Alsing. “Katie is unrivaled in building commercial relationships, laying a strong strategic foundation for sales and bringing a creative approach to how she thinks about the omni-channel consumer experience. I’m delighted to be working with her again.”
During her tenure at Crocs and Heydude, Wagner “managed multi-hundred-million-dollar portfolios, scaled major regional businesses, and doubled revenue in key markets,” said Tom’s. Known for her “disciplined execution and consumer-centric approach, she has established a reputation for strengthening partner relationships and expanding global commercial operations.”
“I’m thrilled to be part of the team shaping the next chapter of this iconic brand,” said Wagner. “I’ve been a fan of Toms for so many years, and I’m excited to reignite its brand relevance, apply a unified marketplace strategy and usher in a more modern distribution approach — just in time for the company’s 20th anniversary.”
