Wolverine World Wide reported that Todd Spaletto and the company mutually agreed he will resign as president of WWW’s Michigan Group on or before May 30, according to a regulatory filing.

The filing on April 10 noted, “His departure is not based on any disagreement with the company relating to its operations,
policies or practices.”

In connection with Spaletto’s departure, the company entered into a separation agreement providing for cash severance payments to Spaletto in an amount equal to eighteen weeks of his base salary, paid in equal installments on the company’s regular bi-weekly payroll schedule as well as restrictions on solicitation and hiring of the company’s employees until May 31, 2022.

Spaletto joined Wolverine in February 2017 as president of Wolverine Outdoor and Lifestyle Group, which included Merrell, Chaco, CAT, Hush Puppies and Sebago. In 2019, Wolverine World Wide reorganized into two operating segments and Spaletto became president of the Wolverine Michigan Group, which includes Bates, Cat footwear, Chaco, Harley-Davidson footwear, Hush Puppies, HyTest, Merrell and Wolverine.

Wolverine”s other segment is Wolverine Boston Group whose brands include Keds, Saucony, Sperry Top-Sider, the Stride Rite licensed business and the kids footwear businesses of Cat, Hush Puppies, Keds, Merrell, Saucony and Sperry.

Prior to joining Wolverine, Spaletto most recently served as president of The North Face brand at VF Corp., where he led the growth of the brand for six years. Previously, Spaletto held various senior leadership roles both with The North Face and Jansport.
