Toad&Co, the lifestyle company inspired by the outdoors, announced the addition of Kyle Boettcher to its senior leadership team as vice president of product and merchandising, effective immediately.

In his new role, Boettcher will lead the strategic development, management and execution of the product design and merchandising teams for Toad&Co. Building upon the existing product line and through close collaboration with the marketing and sales teams, Boettcher will spearhead the continued evolution of Toad&Co’s product point-of-view and merchandising strategy across all channels.

Boettcher brings a wealth of relevant product experience to Toad&Co. In his most recent role as Abercrombie & Fitch’s head of global concept and brand development, Boettcher oversaw the brand and product’s seasonal creative direction, explored and developed product extensions and collaborations and liaised with the marketing, PR and customer experience teams to reinforce brand aesthetic and product presentation. Boettcher was with Abercrombie & Fitch for ten years prior to his role with Toad&Co.

“I am thrilled to welcome Kyle to our senior leadership team at Toad&Co,” noted Gordon Seabury, Toad&Co CEO. “His vision for product innovation and pushing the style quotient in outdoor, combined with his deep appreciation of our brand’s history and our commitment to social and environmental responsibility, will be a powerful force to drive the next phase of Toad&Co growth and relevance. I am confident that Kyle’s taste filter and merchant skill set will build on the design foundation already established here at Toad&Co, while accelerating our ability to support our retailers as they navigate the changing retail landscape.”

A Pacific Northwest native, Boettcher holds a BS in Marketing, a BA in Spanish and a Minor in International Business from the University of Idaho. He enjoys being outdoors, running, spending time with great family and friends and looks forward to learning how to surf. Boettcher has relocated to Santa Barbara, CA for the role.

“Toad&Co has placed making a positive impact at the center of everything they do. I joined this team because of their relentless optimism to make a difference,” notes Boettcher. “Great clothes that make you feel good and actually ‘do good’ for the environment and the communities we live in–you can’t beat that. I am incredibly excited for what lies ahead as we write the next chapter for Toad&Co. It’s going to be a good one.”
