Timbuk2 has joined the 30 cycling brands that partner with The Bike Cooperative, a member-owned group that focuses on helping independent bike dealers maximize efficiencies and profits through collective purchasing, marketing, training and other operations.

“Timbuk2 is an innovator in the industry, producing some of the most functional, good-looking and durable products” said Kevin Wren, drector of supplier relations for The Bike Cooperative.  “We are delighted to partner with such an influential brand in the bike industry. In addition to Timbuk2's extensive line of messenger bags, backpacks and panniers, we're also very excited about their unique custom bag offering.”

As partners, Timbuk2 will continue to grow their presence in the bike community, maximizing their resources and assets with the assistance of The Bike Cooperative. The co-op works with more than 30 premium bike industry brands and over 300 retailers. By leveraging common needs in buying, marketing, cost savings and training, the co-op helps retailers improve their profitability and achieve their business goals.

“We couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of this co-op as we continue to celebrate and expand our brand within the bike industry,” said Mike Wallenfels, CEO of Timbuk2. “This partnership is just another example of how we are committed to our bike heritage. We look forward to working with The Bike Cooperative and continuing to grow our relationships within the bike community.”
