Timbuk2 has hired a specialty cycling sales representatives to serve the brand in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountain States, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Timbuk2 will now be able to provide independent bike dealers with a new level of service that is fitting from a brand that has been rooted in bike culture since its inception in 1989.

The newest additions to the Timbuk2 sales team have carved their place in the market based on dedication to the cycling community and to quality gear that makes for a better ride. These partnerships are a natural fit for Timbuk2 because of mutual high quality standards and commitment to innovation that improves the cycling experience for hard-core and more recreational athletes.

“We are proud to be so deeply immersed in the bike community around the world,” says Timbuk2 VP of Sales Mark Hanley. “Having a talented team of specialized representatives who know the ins and outs of the technology incorporated into our designs and their cycling application will help us deliver outstanding service to independent bike dealers who have supported us for so long.”

Eric Addicott, an independent bicycle sales representative, brings his expertise to Timbuk2’s backyard of Northern California where he has worked for 19 years. “I am more selective about which companies I work with, allowing for a very tight focus on a few, elite brands,” Addicott says. “When I looked at Timbuk2, I saw an iconic brand and a cool, local company. This is one of the most dialed and professional operations I’ve seen in 25 years in the industry.”

Moses Mexia, Karlee Brandner, and David Meadows of MTS Rep Group will cover the Pacific Northwest. With experience in retail, sales management, competitive cycling and technical instruction, MTS is on a mission to share the best of the bike world. “Given the opportunity to work with Timbuk2, it was an easy decision,” says Mexia. “Their quality, depth of products offered and focus on genuine cycling bag offerings will be an excellent option for retailers.”

Based in Colorado, Ptarmigan Group’s John Gerritsen and Daren Alspaugh have been representing premium cycling brands in the Rocky Mountains state since 2002. Ptarmigan feels fortunate to add Timbuk2 to their portfolio as they see Timbuk2 as a brand that has a deep cycling heritage and focused leadership. Rounding out this spectacular team is Doug Looney, president and principle of Velo ADV Sales Agency, representing Timbuk2 in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
