The Timberland Co. is considering relocating its headquarters from Stratham, NH, to Portsmouth, NH, when the lease expires in 2010. Timberland would become the anchor tenant of the Portwalk project, which is scheduled to break ground later this year, according to the seacoastonline.com, the online site for the Portsmouth Herald and the Hampton Union.

Robin Giampa, director of corporate communications for Timberland, confirmed to the website that the Portwalk project is one of the locations the company is considering in the Seacoast. Several other locations are also being considered in the area as well.  She said TBL’s lease at its current location is up in 2010.
Timberland is seeking approximately 160,000 square feet of office space for its 600-person work force.
