The Timberland Co. plans to open a new store on Boston's Newbury Street in early Spring.

Timberland said that the store will be designed to reflect its
“long-standing commitment to sustainability through the use of recycled
materials and other eco-conscious building practices,” according to the Boston Globe.

The company had a store on Newbury Street in 1988 but it closed in the late nineties. Last fall,
Converse opened its first full-price store on Newbury Street.
