The Timberland Company named Brian Moore as VP, global product development for men’s authentic youth. In this role, Brian will be responsible for product design and development for Timberland’s Youth consumer.

“We are pleased to welcome Brian to our team and look forward to his leadership,” said Gene McCarthy, Timberland’s Group Vice President for the Authentic Youth business. “His experience and expertise in product marketing and brand building will be a valuable asset as we focus on our strategies to engage and excite our consumer.”

Prior to joining Timberland, Brian was the Vice President and General Manager at Gravis Footwear, a division of Burton Snowboards, Co. There, he managed global brand marketing and sales and was responsible for overseeing product design, development, sourcing and distribution. Before Gravis, he was the Vice President of Product Marketing and Design at Saucony where he worked for nearly seven years. Brian also worked at New Balance Athletic Shoes for three years.

Brian graduated with a bachelor’s from Brandeis University. In addition to his business experience, Brian formally served on the board of directors for the Greater Boston Track Club where he also volunteered as a coach for middle distance athletes.
