Timberland, a subsidiary of VF Corp., announced the appointment of Diane Woods as vice president and general manager of North America.

In this role, Woods will lead Timberland's North American operations with responsibility for all merchandising, sales, marketing, and operations for the Timberland and Timberland PRO wholesale businesses.

Woods moves into this new role following two years as vice president and general manager of Timberland PRO, where she was responsible for managing all aspects of the brand including product, marketing, sales and operations. During her tenure, Timberland PRO saw record growth with the launch of Timberland PRO Helix workboots, expansion of international and specialty markets, that division's most comprehensive marketing platform, promoting the brand's innovative Anti-Fatigue Technology and its Timberland PRO Helix line of boots through TV and on-line campaigns in the U.S and Canada.

Prior to Timberland PRO, Woods served as general manager of Ipath before the brand was sold in 2011. Woods began her career at Timberland in 1998 as a senior manager of customer operations and over the years held various roles in strategic planning, forecasting, planning, merchandising, and operations.

In her new role as GM of North America for Timberland, she reports to Timberland President, Patrik Frisk.

“I couldn't be more pleased about Diane's transition,” said Frisk. “Diane has proven to be an extremely capable and committed leader during her time with Timberland PRO and we look forward to applying her considerable expertise and energy to the entire North America business as she takes on leadership of that team.”
