Baum's Sporting Goods, Chick's Sporting Goods and Sportco Sporting Goods have joined together to form a new organization to be known as “Western Team Dealers” (WTD). The purpose of the organization will be to enhance and
coordinate some of their purchasing, to share ideas and assist one another with product selection and help in inventory shortages and/or excesses. The first annual meeting of the group will be held in Tucson, AZ on July 12th & 13th.
Baum's has 4 Baseball/softball specialty stores throughout Arizona, Chick's has 11 “superstores” in southern California, all with team specialty stores operating inside their locations, and Sportco has 2 stores in Las Vegas, specializing in team sales.
