The Clymb announced that former Gilt Groupe President Andy Page has joined its board of directors. Page, who now works as president at 23andMe, brings 20-plus years of in-depth operational knowledge and an extensive understanding of e-commerce and the online retail space.


“Andy’s vast skill set and specific domain knowledge will be invaluable to The Clymb as we continue to grow rapidly and further innovate in our category,” states Kelly Dachtler, co-founder and CEO of The Clymb, a members only e-commerce site that specializes in help outdoor brands and adventure travel sites liquidate inventory. “His expertise is a great compliment to our already diverse and accomplished board of directors”



During his tenure at the Gilt Groupe, the leading member-only online shopping destination, Page oversaw tremendous growth and alignment of the company’s strategy, and led the company through several successful financings and acquisitions.

As the president at 23andMe, the leading personal genetics company, Page is tasked with directing product and engineering, marketing, finance, business development, laboratory operations and legal/regulatory affairs for the company. He also serves on the board of directors of My New Red Shoes, a nonprofit organization that provides back-to-school clothes for homeless and low-income children in the San Francisco Bay Area.
