Store closing sales have started at 29 Walking Company Stores. The stores are located in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas. One store operating as Alan's Shoes in Tucson, Arizona is also closing. The 72 other Walking Company Stores not included on the following list of closing locations will remain open to conduct business as usual.

The United States Bankruptcy Court in California approved The Walking Company selection of Hilco Merchant Resources to conduct the Store Closing sale at the 29 stores.
