The Walking Company announced the 2nd annual 'Walking for Hope' nationwide campaign to raise more than $250,000 during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month to support City of Hope, and over one hundred local charities across the country dedicated to breast cancer awareness, research, treatment and education. The Walking Company's commitment to these charities will be supported through the sale of their exclusive pink ribbon collection of footwear and accessories from UGG® Australia, ABEO, Dansko, ECCO, and Aetrex.
Continuing on the success of the 2011 'Walking for Hope' campaign, which raised over $200,000 towards the fight against breast cancer through the sales of their exclusive pink ribbon collection, The Walking Company is proud to raise this year's commitment to $250,000. With the support of their partners, The Walking Company will offer an exclusive collection of the most sought after footwear and accessory styles all adorned with the pink ribbon, the universal symbol for breast cancer awareness. The expanded pink ribbon collection includes the UGG® Australia 'Bailey Button' boots and 'Dakota' slippers, Dansko 'ProXP' clogs, ABEO 'Balboa' sandals and 'SMARTsystem' walking shoes, the ECCO 'Biom Lite' trainers, and Aetrex orthotic insoles.
