The Finish Line, Inc. and Genesco Inc. announced last week that the Federal Trade Commission has granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, in connection with the companies' pending merger. The deal, which is expected to close this fall, remains subject to approval by Genesco shareholders and the satisfaction of closing conditions as set forth in the merger agreement.
