The Buckle's sales for the five-week period ended April 2, 2005 increased 13.3% to $43.2 million from sales of $38.1 million in the corresponding five-week period ended April 3, 2004.

Comparable store sales, for stores open at least one year, for the five-week period ended April 2, 2005 increased 8.0% from comparable store sales for the prior year five-week period.

Net sales year-to-date, for the nine weeks ended April 2, 2005 increased 12.4 percent to $75.8 million from $67.4 million for the corresponding nine weeks in the prior year. Comparable store sales year-to-date were up 7.3 percent from sales in the same nine-week period of the previous year.
