The Big Gear Show has hired Nisa Meineke as its marketing and project director, coming from a digital marketing, brand strategy and project management background in the cycling and outdoor space.

“I’m very humbled to have this incredible opportunity to build what I view as the future of doing business and community gathering within the outdoor, bike and paddle specialty markets,” Meineke said. “Our retailers and brands are operating through significant challenges that could lead to incredible growth opportunities. Innovative solutions are needed for brands and buyers, and The Big Gear Show’s time is now.”

Meineke will head up the show’s omnichannel, educational resources, marketing, show logistics, community growth, and engagement. Her background includes working for Diamondback Bicycles, Smith Optics, Dew Tour, and supporting specialty brands with omnichannel content and digital campaigns.

“Nisa brings a depth of experience, relationships and creative solutions to our core team that further enables us to serve our incredible retail buyers and exhibiting manufacturers,” said Sutton Bacon, founder, The Big Gear Show. “I am confident that Nisa will deliver excellence and service to our stakeholders and community before, during and after The Big Gear Show.”

The Big Gear Show will take place August 3-5 in Park City, UT.
