Iconix Group is reporting that Textiss will take over Umbro’s footwear and apparel license in France starting at the beginning of 2026.
Textiss, which has served as Umbro’s underwear and socks licensee in France for the past decade, will assume responsibility for the brand’s licence from the Royer Group, which has held the rights for the past 10 years.
Iconix stated, “In agreement with the Royer Group, the licence will be subject to an organized and carefully managed transition. From January 2026, Textiss will manage orders for the second half of 2026, ensuring a smooth operational handover for all customers and partners.”
