TEXbase, which provides web-based product compliance, quality and materials management software solutions to many outdoor apparel brands, has appointed an experience fundraiser as its newest board member.

Donny Askin is an accomplished, high-integrity leader, strategist and fundraiser skilled at managing early-stage growth and mid-stage technology companies. During his accomplished career, he has served software companies in various segments such as multi-channel retail, mid-market, SME, Demand Chain, Product Design, Supply Chain, Global Sourcing, Private Label, SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) and on premise Enterprise. He founded CommercialWare (sold to Micros, now part of Oracle), led and facilitated the acquisition of Ordermotion (sold to NetSuite), led Arigo, grew the PLM Group of Gerber Technology and has mentored startups through MassChallenge.

Askin specializes in driving company growth via strategic planning initiatives that balance the unique capabilities of an organization against the markets they serve, which as he likes to say is all about “bringing order to chaos”.

“Donny’s leadership and experience in all facets of business; from raising capital to marketing, sales, business development, professional services, software engineering and finance are invaluable to TEXbase,”
said Joe Walkuski, Founder and CEO, TEXbase
. “Donny joins myself as Chairman and our existing board members Greg Gianforte, Tad Swanson and Wayne Huyard. We are honored to have him on the team as we enter into our next chapter of growth.”
