Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO), a maker of fly fishing rods, appointed Dave Wensel as vice president of sales.

Wensel brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the fishing and outdoor industry. TFO said he has a “track record of driving revenue growth, building high-performing sales organizations, and expanding national distribution networks. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives that strengthened independent sales representative networks, improved forecasting discipline, and aligned sales strategy with sustainable margin performance.”

In his new role, Wensel will lead TFO’s national sales operations, oversee the company’s independent sales rep network and strategic account development, and play a key role in aligning product development strategy with market demand.

“Numerous changes impacting our industry create opportunities for TFO,” said Frank-Paul King, president of Temple Fork Outfitters. “Dave’s leadership will be key to helping us realize those opportunities while continuing to strengthen our relationships with dealers and customers.”
