Team Express has selected Buffalo Communications to create and execute an external communications program for the BaseballExpress.com, Softball.com, FootballAmerica.com and TeamExpress.com.

Buffalo will focus on generating publicity, and play an integral role in media planning and buying. The program will enhance Team Express position as Americas leading multi-channel sporting goods retailer. Its sport-specific entities serve individual consumers, and TeamExpress.com is the exclusive supplier to thousands of schools as well as professional and amateur teams, leagues and sports organizations.

With more than 50,000 SKUs and high-performance, brand-name products at competitive prices, our customer loyalty is impressive, says Mark Marney, CEO of Team Express. Buffalo Communications will tell stories about product depth, ease of shopping experiences, gear exclusives and more.

Established in 1990 as a turnkey solution for equipment, apparel, footwear, team uniforms and training aids, the company features the latest in brand-name gear that helps athletes affordably play and look better. Easy-to-use customization tools help shoppers quickly personalize products to desired specifications.

Last month, a group of investors led by Marney acquired Team Express Distributing, LLC. Founder of The Golf Warehouse (TGW.com) in 1997, Marney, along with brothers Mike and Richard, grew that enterprise into the largest online channel in golf before departing in 2009. They also started BaseballSavings.com.

New Team Express leadership is modernizing the companys infrastructure, enhancing websites, intensifying marketing and creating even stronger inventory management. It is also expanding existing soccer and basketball operations, and exploring entry into hockey, lacrosse, rugby and other sports.

With customers in 50 states and 38 countries, Team Express boasts a philosophy of fanatical customer service as well as Major League Baseball and National Football League players, coaches and teams as ambassadors.
