Target Sports USA, the online retailer of shooting sports products, including ammunition, firearms and accessories, appointed Steven Blinn as the new chief marketing officer.
Blinn joins the company with more than 20 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, and business growth leadership. Target Sports said, “Throughout his career, he has helped build marketing teams and strategies that focus on connecting brand strategy, customer experience, and measurable revenue growth into a unified marketing engine….Most recently, he was named a 2026 Top 100 Marketer by the OnCon Icon Awards. In recent years, much of his work has centered around the effective use and integration of artificial intelligence into marketing operations in order to help scale content, streamline workflows, and improve customer engagement while still maintaining a strong human element behind the brand.”
Previous roles include head of marketing, That’s Great News; vice president of marketing, Miracle Nutritional Products; director of web services, Secure Ticket Purchase; owner, ProBats LLC; and owner, College Select Baseball
In his role as Chief Marketing Officer at Target Sports USA, Blinn will oversee the marketing team, strategically guiding their operations across ecommerce, digital growth, brand development, customer engagement, social media, content creation, and emerging AI initiatives. His addition comes at a time when the company is continuing to expand its digital presence and strengthen its community relationships throughout the shooting sports industry.
