Talus Outdoor Technologies, LLC of Missoula, MT will distribute its innovative ColdAvenger mask in Norway through XC Sports. The venture marks Talus first distribution partner in Europe.

We are pleased to bring ColdAvenger products to Europe through such a progressive and reputable company that understands how important it is to protect the lungs and airway from chronic cold weather injury, says John Sullivan III, CEO of Talus. This partnership is a great base for our consumer demand overseas.

We see the ColdAvenger as an exciting solution to cold weather health issues, says Kristoffer Kleven, CEO of XC Sports. The Norwegian people are ardent outdoor enthusiasts and will reap the benefits of the ventilation system and overall protection from the elements.

ColdAvenger products have a medical grade polyurethane nose and mouth chamber which mixes inhaled cold air with exhaled warm air to achieve a dynamic balance of warmth and humidity while keeping moisture away from the face. The ColdAvengers patent-pending ventilation technology creates a comfortable microclimate that keeps temperatures inside the mask 40˚– 60˚F higher than outside air.

XC Sports Equipment has, since 2003, offered the best equipment in handling, ride and freeriding.

With experienced suppliers working with small to medium-sized businesses, XC Sports has a significant advantage in actively influencing the development of products for the Norwegian market, adapted to Norwegian conditions.  XC Sports specializes in first-hand product testing and evaluation of the results to ensure top-quality solutions to the customer.

Talus introduced the ColdAvenger in 2007. The mask is the result of more than two years of research and development testing in Northern Rocky Mountain winters to achieve four functional goals: thermal comfort, ventilation adequacy, moisture control and ease of breathing during exercise.
