Survival Straps, which claims credit for inventing the category, announced it has entered licensing deals with 36 universities, the PGA Tour, all five branches of the military, and The Wounded Warrior Project.

In June the Jacksonville, FL company became one of the few small businesses selected by the U.S. Olympic Committee to license official Team USA gear. Survival Straps is also providing all Team USA athletes with a Survival Straps bracelet and gear tag to wear and use at the London games.

Beginning in August, officially licensed and branded Vail Resorts Survival Straps gear will be available as well. Vail Resorts’ stores at Keystone, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Northstar, Heavenly, and Area 51 will have its own specially designed Survival Straps gear with custom dog tags.

Survival Straps are woven paracord bracelets and gear that can be unwound in an emergency situation to provide you with a durable length of rope. They are available in a variety of designs, and custom colors and dog tags can be chosen to design your own Survival Bracelet, Fishtail bracelet, key fob, watch strap, rifle sling and more. Custom Survival Straps for a variety of causes as well as military, police, fire and EMS workers are also available. Since introducing the products at Outdoor Retailers, Bison Designs and several other accessories vendors have launched their own versions of the bracelets.
