Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. announced several senior level appointments to the sales staff, effective immediately. Randell Pence, former executive director of sales, will be relocating to the greater Nashville, TN area to fulfill duties as newly appointed senior sales executive. In his new role, Randell will focus on the sale of Ruger firearms at the retail level in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas.

Ruger will continue to utilize Randell's valuable industry experience and expertise in firearms design by keeping Randell as an integral part of Ruger’s new product development process.

Shawn Leska, former national sales manager, has been promoted to director of sales. Shawn has held several key roles during his 22 years at Ruger, each taking on a significant increase in responsibility. In Shawn's new position, he will continue to focus on the growth of distributor sales as well as the coordination of Ruger's overall sales effort. He will report directly to Chris Killoy, vice president of sales & marketing.

Robert “RG” Stitt, former regional sales manager of Mid-Atlantic States for Ruger, has been promoted to the position of National Sales Manager. RG is a longtime industry veteran, taking on an impressive host of sales roles at the retail, wholesale and manufacturer levels. In his new role, RG is responsible for all regional sales managers with a focus on growing sales and shelf space at the retail level. RG will report directly to Shawn Leska, newly appointed director of sales.

In light of these promotions, Vice President of Sales and Marketing Chris Killoy remarked that he is both excited and encouraged by these senior sales staff appointments.
